Congratulations and Thank You
What a competition we’ve had this IPL!
There were:
- 62,000 teams created
- 1.6 million substitutions
- 8,700 leagues created
- 10 million pageviews
- 1.3 million visits
And so we want to thank all of you that helped make our site successful over the past 5 weeks. It’s been really fun interacting and competing with all of you.
And, we want to extend a congratulations to Grant Hallam, winner of the overall competition with his Flip Floppers and grand prize of a signed match shirt by the winning Deccan Chargers team. He faced some stiff competition from Rajiv Ranjan and Sameer, who also deserve congratulations for putting up such an awesome fight til the death.
And the weekly winners deserve a mention too, they are: Rajiv, Piyush, Shyam, Ani and Vijayanand. They will all be receiving a signed cricket ball as their prize.

The T20 World Cup
There’s no time to rest in the hectic world of cricket, as the T20 World Cup starts on June 6th. Go on, go ahead and make your team now.
This competition will run using the international teams, with the same points scoring system as we had for the IPL tournament. If you create your team before June 4, we will award you an extra $500 in fantasy dollars.
The grand prize for this will be two return tickets to a city of your choice from the winning country, or a cash equivalent of $2,000 with $250 and $100 for second and third place.
Oh and the admins will be competing hard for this tournament, we have our own in house sweepstake going on, so watch out!

Stay up to date with our blog
You can read our blog to stay up to date with any changes we make on the site. We will post here for any major announcements.

Earn fantasy money
There’s another way to earn fantasy money on the site beyond being active and a good member of the community. If you fill out our surveys, we’ll reward you with fantasy money. Right now you can spend $250 to change your background picture, as you can see our moderator Aditya has done. We will be introducing new things for you to spend your money on soon, so get earning!

It would be preferable to have the blog stay in line with the rest of cricket.com. Click on the blog feels like leaving the site with not button to click back. I would suggest a change here.
Thanks
